Timothy N. Teen

Tim is a successful, entrepreneurial leader with 30+ years’ experience in executive leadership, sales management, and business development in small and medium sized businesses. He enjoys listening to, and collaborating with, owners and teams to grow privately held companies and brings expertise from a variety of business models and best practices in the B2B sector.

One of the biggest challenges facing many private and family-owned firms, even those with solid business/operating plans and strong performance, is professional and experienced management. Tim brings a history of increasing revenue, EBITDA, and enterprise value, while optimizing the sales processes that support performance and growth.

Tim’s business journey – 7X founder, CEO, accredited investor of small to midsized (SMB) – includes a significant volume of lessons-learned for you to leverage. This is the “been there, done that” accrued from leading companies through growth, transition, and change in complex markets, serving demanding clients, while achieving Inc. 5000 status (fastest growing company); certified a Great Place to Work; and securing global ISO-9000 Certification.

Focused on support that is real-world and practical, Tim has led a team that raised a $100 Million fund, invested in 14 firms emerging technology companies, with successful exits to such acquirers as Apple, Google, KKR, Laird, and Motorola.

Tim is a recipient of the Secretary of the Army Public Service Award, one of the highest civilian distinctions bestowed by the DoD for his service and dedication to others. He is also a lifelong NJ resident, and he and his wife are the proud parents of 3 children.
