Where the role sits
- Extension of the CEO
- Decision flow
- The leadership agenda
- Work that should leave the desk
Chief of Staff
The Chief of Staff is the extension of the CEO. The role clears the path for decisions and installs the Infinite Coach across the rest of the leadership team.
This is the most complete hybrid of the Infinite Coach and a fractional executive. The person takes work off the CEO's desk, and at the same time teaches the CEO how to delegate and hold the team accountable. Those leaders then do the same with the performers on their own teams.
A Chief of Staff does not become a second CEO. The role makes the priorities visible, keeps the leadership meeting honest, and coaches the team to carry the work. When every follow-up still routes through one person, the company is maintaining, not leading.
We start with assessment, workshops, and coaching so the people already in the business can carry more of the growth. A fractional executive is available when that work shows a real gap, and even then we look first for someone inside who can be mentored into the seat.
